Tortilla Flat Restaurant & Settlement
With a population of six people, Tortilla Flat Settlement is Arizona's “smallest official community.” Nestled in the Superstition Mountains, this little town began as a stage stop in the early 1900's, when the road was used to service the Roosevelt Dam construction. Tortilla Flat is also one of the historic stations found along the Apache Trail.
The Tortilla Flat Restaurant & Superstition Saloon serves delicious burgers, cold drinks, chili and Prickly Pear ice cream. Whether you enjoy a treat at the General Store – one of the original buildings from the 1940s – or dig into a tasty burger, the charm of the “Real Old West” is alive in Tortilla Flat. This fun attraction is located eighteen miles northeast of Apache Junction on State Route 88. Enjoy your stay in central Arizona.
