Established in 1935, the public Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) serves the Phoenix metropolitan area, and is one of the country's 10 busiest airports – hosting over 100,000 daily passengers. Encompassing over 3,000 acres, PHX features three terminals, and three runways. Owned by the City of Phoenix, PHX is a focus city for Southwest Airlines, and hub for Ameriflight, Great Lakes Airlines, and US Airways.
Travelers find everything they need at America's Friendliest Airport. If in the city without a vehicle, hop on one of the city buses or METRO light rail for a quick ride to PHX. Phoenix visitors in need of a parking space at Sky Harbor have more than 20,000 spaces from which to choose.
